Aim of Life?

I realize I am so late to coming back to blog, but this is what irritated me whole year, I was having postpartum depression, re organizing home after 2.5 year of pregnancy and being a new mom break, some health issues and what irritated me the most was...I was thinking a lot about my aim of life... I was giving no time to Quran, not reading Islamic stuff, whatever I learned from the Tafseer course before marriage, I was forgetting all. I heard lot of deaths (wont call sudden as death is always a sudden happening, it doesn't warn us before coming). I had this fear (thanks to postpartum depression too) that what if I am also going to die right away and am not regular in prayers, out of touch with Allah and His Religion, just spending days like an animal (no aim...spending days like a machine...) I was  fearful, I was having bad panic attacks, so first thing I tried was sharing my feelings with a friend who herself got panic attacks, she was helping me a lot, but the REAL CHANGE ...

Recipe Failure?

How it feels like when you are perfect in some recipe and you get appreciation from people for making such a yummy treat...you are fully confident when making it again and... the recipe turns into a DISASTER? and still you have to feed people? Well the embarrassment is what I am feeling right now. I made kheer or you can say Rice Pudding. It is the most easiest recipe on earth as newly brides in our culture are told to prepare it the first time when they start working in a kitchen as it is No Fail recipe but look at me :(...I dried it all while having a cup of tea. Wow hubby just came and told me my brother in law (husband's elder brother) liked it...

Time Management

I am being a night owl since weeks and it really sucks. I really feel bad about it later and wanted to manage my time.We , the Muslims, should never say that WE ARE BORED.... we have to utilize our time and use our health and energy for our religion and for the basis Allah has sent us for. No human being is send to this Earth without any duty he/she has to perform and these all words are fact of life and hence I feel ashamed of how I am misusing my energy and time in really useless ways. While googling through the net, I found a best idea here  and am so much impressed that how easy and well illustrated way the writer has described the Time Management Tips. 1. Analysing the Time : For this we have to take record in our diary about how we spend our daily routine even realizing how much time we MOSTLY waste on certain stuff. 2. Cutting Back unproductive demands: Now by taking note of what we really do each day and seeing a list of our noted activities, we can find ...

Hijab for Chubby Face?

I am just bored of how I simply wrap hijab around my head, tried different ways but I hate putting pins around, what if they pinch me or my lil one or maybe drop on floor and someone gets hurt, secondly I noticed that we don't get extra long hijab easily which covers the chest, thirdly I noticed that tight hijabs don't look good on chubby faces. So I looked on google by typing Hijab on Chubby face and saw lot of good images and tutorials and found out that loose curl hijabs look good on such face. I do wear niqaab as well but want to style hijab nicely in case I go to someone's home.  I loved the images here ....not posting direct pics in case model minds.... AND specially loved some here  and here Check this for info on hijab according to face shape.....

This is Life... (Part:1)

Two death news in 15 days and I am so upset as I knew both , one was my relative aunti and other was a driver (we never called him driver , but uncle, as he was sort of my late father's friend...yes... my father had no hesitation calling him his friend or brother...). Both personalities were at their best of gestures, I would SPECIALLY highlight my father who , even after 8 years of demise, is still missed by us, and all people who know him. I was thinking today that we engage ourself too much in this world in other things, we fight, we struggle, we spend time , we want to get our wishes fulfilled, but for this FAKE world. We know we have to leave this world any second and all here will remain here whether they are our belongings, our families or our money.  We struggled too much for this money, for our family and get our dreams come true but this was all for this world!!! what about our final destiny? what kind of preparation we have made for the final journey? Am so s...
