Happy Ramadan



Alhamdulillah the beautiful month is here, though this month is harder on us as we have to fast and keep away from food. You won't believe it that it is 48 degree temperature in Jeddah. I want to avoid kitchen or have to prepare super fast recipes.

Speaking of recipes what you guys prepare? Well for us, soup, fruit chat are must...rest we have pakodas or dhai bdde on alternate days.

I was thinking that we are enthusiastic about preparing delicious food for sehri and iftar, but are we also preparing for the REAL SOUL of Ramadan?

I recite Quran , each juzz per day with Urdu Translation. I have a tip, I recite ONE RUBBA (there are four divisons of each juzz) after each prayer, alhamdulillah it has worked for me well.

Really don't engage yourself so much in cooking. You can freeze the batter in morning and fry in evening. You can save a lot of time.

Another thing is that BE LIGHT when you go for taraveeh, before taraveeh have a fruit juice and fruit chat as well as tea. Eat other food when you are back from taraveeh. This way you will be active while performing salah.
These were few tips from me. Well I am not a perfectionist but these are some tricks that really worked for me.

Hijab for Chubby Face?

I am just bored of how I simply wrap hijab around my head, tried different ways but I hate putting pins around, what if they pinch me or my lil one or maybe drop on floor and someone gets hurt, secondly I noticed that we don't get extra long hijab easily which covers the chest, thirdly I noticed that tight hijabs don't look good on chubby faces. Time Management

I am being a night owl since weeks and it really sucks. I really feel bad about it later and wanted to manage my time.We , the Muslims, should never say that WE ARE BORED.... we have to utilize our time and use our health and energy for our religion and for the basis Allah has sent us for. No human being is send to this Earth without any duty he/she has to perform and these all words are fact of life and hence I feel ashamed of how I am misusing my energy and time in really useless ways. I am now "A MOTHER"... Alhamdulillah

Life was going on and on with its ups and downs. It is a general idea of every girl to get married and have kids. I got married but still no kids. Lots and Lots of people were raising their brows, asking questions and taunting, some people just don't want to miss chance to play with others feelings. I knew inside me and from depth of my heart that if I intend something, I will get it, so I knew it I will surely become a mother if Allah Wills but the question was.....WHEN? I just couldn't wait. Then there was a girl I knew who fell pregnant after four years of marriage. I remember she used to cry a lot and was showing her weakness MORE than me, so when I heard she fell pregnant,I unconsciously started walking, I knew it(medically) that it was my weight which didn't allow me to conceive.
